When you come to Molokai, locals and visitors agree that the east end is the place to stay. It is coveted by locals as a sacred place and Kainalu, where we are located, is considered truly magical. We offer a beautiful beach front property on almost two private acres with 450 feet of beach front. We are set far off the road, offering maximum quiet and solitude. You can not see any neighbors from our property, unlike many of the other rentals on the east end. The house and cottage are also very private from each other. In fact, you can barely see either from the other. Each has it's own unobstructed view of the ocean from their individual covered decks. Both the house and cottage have old Hawaiian charm with all the modern amenities. They are both beautifully finished and appointed. The property feels like a park, your own private park in fact. It is beautifully landscaped with many tropical plants.

The Pukoo area of Molokai is the Bora Bora of the Hawaiian Islands and Pukoo Hale Cottage is nestled in the most pristine and tropical location in all of Pukoo. Because Molokai is the only Hawaiian island with a fringing tropical reef, the average depth to the reef (1/2 mile out) is 4 - 8 feet deep, making it an ideal swimming, snorkeling, canoeing and kid-safe beach and ocean. The cottage has two bedrooms, one indoor bath, one outdoor shower, open kitchen, dining and living area. It is ideal for a couple or a small family. Views from the second floor living space of the cottage are exquisite. With peekaboo views of the ocean and lush, misting mountains, tropical views abound. A covered deck off the living area and master bedroom provide a quiet, relaxing area.
Beach access is available across our other beachfront rental property. With palms surrounding the deck, each rental has privacy when rented to separate parties and are perfectly suited to rent together for larger groups of 8 or less. |

Kaluakoi Beach Cottage 8B is a deluxe 1000 sq. foot cottage including a 350 sq. ft lanai. The cottages are the largest and most private units in the Kaluakoi Resort. Located on a 15 foot rise above the 9th hole of the Kaluakoi Golf Course, our cottage has an unobstructed view of the ocean. Sitting on the knoll permits complete privacy for the unit and fantastic views. The sunsets from the lanai are spectacular and whale watching in the winter is awesome...The perfect "get a way" cottage.
Completely remodeled in 2004, it is decorated with art from local Hawaiian artists. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area and a sitting area looking out over the golf course and the blue Pacific to Oahu...direct ocean front.
The cottage has one bedroom with a new king size bed, dressing area and a large bathroom. The ceilings are 30' high with two ceiling fans. With an all new kitchen, bathroom and furniture, it is a wonderful place to rest, relax and enjoy paradise. |

Our Beachfront Cottage is located 19 miles from the town of Kaunakakai on the island of Molokai, and is nestled among palm trees and other natural foliage right on the shoreline.
To its right and left are remnants of ancient fish ponds. Ahead are the reef, a spectacular view of the island of Maui and perhaps a breaching whale during the winter months.

On the East end of Molokai, surrounded by 14,000 acres of pristine land, stands the lodge of Pu`u O Hoku (Hill Of Stars) Ranch.
Seated atop a gently rising hill at 750 feet elevation, surrounded by 2 acres of lawn and gardens, the lodge is perfectly suited for retreats, seminars, workshops and conferences where privacy, natural beauty, and serenity are the key elements.
The building, under consideration for the National Historic register, was constructed in the 1930's for then owner Paul Fagan - founder of Hana Ranch and Hotel on Maui.
From the lodge there is a panorama of views, including pastures, the ocean to the North and East, and the Island of Maui.
It is a place rich in history, with many famous visitors over the years including John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Stewart, John Denver, James Arness, and others.
It has been used recently for seminars for groups such as the Rockefeller Foundation, ARAS Foundation, and various inspirational retreats.
Included in the lodge are a spacious main hall with fireplace, a large covered lanai, a fully equipped kitchen, and 11 bedrooms with a sleeping capacity of 22.
For groups slightly larger; there is a nearby, two bedroom, vacation cottage which can sleep 7 additional persons. |
